Local Purchase Officer (LPO)

Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₹17,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Experience: Minimum 1 year

Job Responsibilities:

- Handle local purchasing of FMCG and supermarket products.
- Identify and source products based on supermarket requirements.
- Coordinate with local suppliers, distributors, and vendors.
- Negotiate prices, discounts, and purchase terms.
- Monitor stock requirements and ensure timely purchasing.
- Compare supplier prices and market rates.
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Coordinate with the Store and Warehouse teams for purchase requirements.
- Check product quality, quantity, pricing, and availability.
- Maintain purchase records and supplier details.
- Keep updated on current FMCG products, market prices,



offers, and trends.

Requirements:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in FMCG purchasing, supermarket purchasing, or LPO role.
- Good knowledge of FMCG and supermarket products is required.
- Knowledge of local suppliers and market rates is preferred.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple suppliers.
- Experience in a supermarket or retail environment will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
