Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager – MEP & Civil to manage end-to-end procurement activities for infrastructure and turnkey projects. The role will focus on strategic sourcing, vendor development, cost negotiation, material planning, and timely procurement of civil and MEP materials while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and project delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement of civil and MEP materials, equipment, and services for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and develop vendors, suppliers, contractors, and OEMs.
- Obtain competitive quotations, negotiate prices, and ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Review BOQs, technical specifications, drawings, and material requirements in coordination with project and engineering teams.
- Handle civil procurement, including cement, steel, structural materials, flooring, waterproofing, finishing materials, and other construction supplies.
- Manage MEP procurement, including HVAC equipment, electrical panels, cables, lighting, plumbing materials, pumps, fire-fighting systems, and related equipment.
- Prepare comparative statements, analyze quotations, track budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and release purchase orders while ensuring agreed commercial terms,



quality standards, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, finance, and planning teams for timely material availability.
- Monitor deliveries and logistics across PAN India project locations.
- Maintain vendor databases, procurement trackers, purchase records, and MIS reports.
- Coordinate with finance and vendors for invoice verification, payment schedules, and documentation.
- Build strong vendor relationships and continuously improve procurement processes and cost efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- 6–10 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in infrastructure, construction, EPC, warehousing, retail, industrial, or commercial projects.
- Solid hands-on experience in both Civil and MEP procurement.
- Expertise in vendor development, strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, BOQ analysis, and cost control.
- Experience in handling multiple projects, vendors, and procurement requirements simultaneously.
- Good understanding of construction materials, MEP equipment, technical specifications, and procurement contracts.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/procurement systems.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Industry Background

Candidates from infrastructure companies, EPC contractors, turnkey project companies, warehouse construction, industrial projects, retail fit-outs, commercial construction, or MEP contracting backgrounds will be preferred.
