Our machines serve quarries, mining and construction projects across India and abroad.
We design, fabricate, machine and assemble in-house.
Role Overview
You will own quality checks across our shop floor.
This covers incoming material, fabrication, machining, assembly and final dispatch.
You will work closely with Production, Design and Stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming raw material, castings and bought-out parts against drawings and specifications.
- Verify material test certificates (MTCs) from suppliers.
- Carry out in-process inspection of fabricated structures — fit-up, welding and dimensions.
- Inspect machined components for dimensions, tolerances and surface finish.
- Conduct final inspection of assembled machines before dispatch.
- Check painting quality, including surface preparation and DFT.
- Prepare inspection reports and quality records.
- Raise non-conformance reports (NCRs)
and follow up on corrective action.
- Maintain calibration records for measuring instruments.
- Support customer and third-party inspections when required.
Requirements
- Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T.;
- Hands-on use of Vernier, micrometer, height gauge, dial gauge and bore gauge.
- Basic knowledge of welding processes and weld defects.
- Good with MS Excel and report writing.
- Freshers with strong basics are welcome.
Added Advantage
- Experience in heavy fabrication or heavy engineering manufacturing.
- Exposure to casting or machining inspection.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems.
- Familiarity with NDT methods such as DPT, MPI or UT.
