Shri Khushal Das University invites applications from qualified and dedicated candidates for the position of Assistant Professor in Zoology. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, practical laboratory sessions, and academic development in the field of Zoological Sciences.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver lectures and conduct practical classes in Zoology as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Teach subjects such as Animal Diversity, Cell Biology, Genetics, Evolution, Ecology, Animal Physiology, and related areas.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and question papers.
- Conduct and supervise laboratory experiments, practical examinations, and student projects.
- Guide students in academic activities, research projects, and dissertation work, as applicable.
- Participate in research activities, seminars, conferences, workshops, and academic publications.
- Maintain laboratory records, equipment, and safety standards.
- Conduct student assessments, evaluate answer sheets, and maintain academic records.
- Participate in departmental meetings, admission activities, and other university responsibilities.

Eligibility Criteria

- Master’s degree in Zoology or a relevant allied discipline with the minimum marks prescribed by applicable UGC regulations.
- NET/SET/SLET or Ph.D. qualification, as applicable under prevailing UGC norms.
- Robust subject knowledge, communication skills,



and teaching aptitude.
- Research experience and publications will be preferred, where applicable.

Shri Khushal Das University invites applications from qualified and motivated candidates for the position of Assistant Professor in Botany. The selected candidate will contribute to teaching, laboratory instruction, research, and academic development in plant sciences.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver lectures and conduct practical classes in Botany according to the prescribed curriculum.
- Teach subjects such as Plant Diversity, Plant Anatomy, Plant Physiology, Genetics, Taxonomy, Ecology, Plant Biotechnology, and related areas.
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, assignments, laboratory manuals, and examination materials.




- Conduct and supervise laboratory practicals, field studies, botanical surveys, and student projects.
- Guide students in academic assignments, research projects, and dissertations, as applicable.
- Participate in research activities, scientific publications, seminars, conferences, and workshops.
- Maintain botanical specimens, laboratory equipment, records, and safety standards.
- Evaluate student performance and maintain academic and examination records.
- Contribute to curriculum development, departmental activities, admissions, and other university assignments.
