About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Procurement Manager to manage end-to-end procurement activities for our signage manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, identifying and developing vendors, negotiating prices, managing purchase orders, controlling procurement costs and ensuring timely availability of materials for production and project execution.

The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of signage manufacturing materials, fabrication components, printing consumables, electrical components, hardware and finishing materials, along with the ability to manage vendor relationships and optimize procurement costs without compromising quality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement & Purchase Management

- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for factory production and project requirements.
- Plan and execute procurement based on production schedules, project requirements and material requisitions.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials, consumables, components and other required materials.
- Prepare and release purchase orders based on approved quotations and requirements.
- Coordinate with production, design, project management, stores and finance teams.
- Monitor purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.

2. Signage Manufacturing Material Knowledge

Manage procurement of materials related to signage, wayfinding, branding and logo manufacturing, including:

- Metal Materials: MS sheets, SS sheets, aluminium sheets, aluminium profiles, channels, angles, pipes and fabrication materials.
- Acrylic Materials: Acrylic sheets, cast acrylic, extruded acrylic, acrylic rods, adhesives and related accessories.
- LED & Electrical Components: LED modules, LED strips, power supplies, drivers, cables, wires, connectors, switches and electrical accessories.
- Printing Materials: UV printing consumables, inks, vinyl,



flex, backlit films, laminates and printing media.
- Fabrication Materials: Welding electrodes, cutting tools, grinding wheels, fasteners, screws, nuts, bolts and hardware.
- Finishing Materials: Paints, primers, powder coating materials, polishing compounds, adhesives and surface treatment chemicals.
- Installation Materials: Mounting brackets, clamps, fixtures, anchors, supports and installation hardware.
- Packaging Materials: Protective films, cartons, wooden crates, foam, bubble wrap and other packing materials.

3. Vendor Development & Management

- Identify, evaluate and develop reliable vendors, suppliers and manufacturers.
- Build a strong vendor network for metal, acrylic, LED, printing, fabrication and finishing materials.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, credit periods, delivery schedules and commercial conditions.
- Conduct vendor evaluations based on quality, pricing, delivery performance and service.
- Develop alternate vendors to ensure uninterrupted material supply.
- Maintain long-term supplier relationships and resolve vendor-related issues.

4. Cost Control & Commercial Negotiation

- Negotiate competitive prices and achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
- Analyse market rates and compare vendor quotations.
- Prepare comparative statements (CS) and obtain necessary approvals.
- Monitor material price fluctuations and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
- Standardize commonly used materials and identify opportunities for bulk purchasing.
- Track procurement budgets and control overall purchase expenditure.

5. Inventory & Stores Coordination

- Coordinate with stores and production teams to maintain optimum inventory levels.
- Monitor stock availability,



minimum stock levels and reorder requirements.
- Avoid excess inventory, stock shortages and unnecessary purchases.
- Ensure proper material planning based on production and project schedules.
- Monitor slow-moving and non-moving inventory.
- Ensure proper documentation of inward materials, GRNs and purchase records.

6. Quality & Supplier Performance

- Ensure procured materials meet approved technical specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with the QC and production teams for material inspections and approvals.
- Resolve quality issues, material rejections and supplier discrepancies.
- Ensure proper documentation, certifications and test reports wherever required.
- Monitor supplier performance and take corrective action for recurring issues.

7. Purchase Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain purchase orders, quotations, comparative statements and vendor records.
- Monitor pending purchase orders and delivery commitments.
- Prepare procurement reports, cost-saving reports and vendor performance reports.
- Coordinate with finance for invoice verification, payment follow-ups and vendor reconciliation.
- Ensure transparency and compliance with company procurement policies.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong experience in procurement and strategic sourcing within manufacturing operations.
- Good technical knowledge of signage manufacturing materials and components.
- Experience in vendor development, price negotiation and cost optimization.
- Knowledge of inventory management, material planning and purchase processes.
- Ability to understand technical specifications, BOQs, drawings and material requirements.
- Strong commercial, analytical and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP / inventory management systems.
- Strong coordination, communication and team management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple procurement requirements and urgent project deliveries.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
