QA/QC CIVIL ENGINEER

URGENT REQUIREMENT – INDUSTRIAL CONSTRUCTION / AUTOMOTIVE / MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY

Job Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Experience Required: 9–12 Years

Qualification: BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Industry: Industrial Construction / Automotive / Tyre Manufacturing / Manufacturing Plant Projects

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Monitor and ensure quality compliance for all civil construction activities, including RCC works, foundations, industrial buildings, flooring and structural works.
- Prepare, review and implement Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements and quality checklists.
- Conduct inspections of reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, structural foundations, industrial flooring and finishing works.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, relevant IS codes and client quality standards.
- Monitor concrete quality, cube testing, slump testing, material testing and laboratory test reports.
- Inspect PEB foundations, anchor bolts, grouting, structural interfaces and related civil construction activities.
- Raise and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), coordinate corrective actions and maintain quality documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors, site engineers, third-party inspection agencies and PMC/client representatives.
- Conduct material inspections for cement, steel, aggregates, concrete and other civil construction materials.




- Maintain daily inspection reports, material test certificates, quality registers and project handover documentation.
- Support internal and external quality audits and ensure timely closure of quality observations.
- Ensure compliance with project quality requirements throughout industrial construction and manufacturing plant development.

Mandatory Experience & Skills

- 9–12 years of experience in Industrial Construction, Automotive Industry and Manufacturing Industry Projects.
- Strong experience in QA/QC activities for industrial buildings, factories and manufacturing plant construction.
- Practical knowledge of RCC structures, industrial foundations, PEB-related civil works and industrial flooring.
- Proficiency in QAP, ITP, Method Statements, NCR management and quality documentation.
- Sound knowledge of IS codes, construction specifications, material testing and quality inspection procedures.
- Ability to interpret civil engineering drawings, structural drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience in contractor quality monitoring, site inspections and coordination with PMC consultants.
- Previous experience in automotive plants, tyre manufacturing facilities or large-scale industrial construction projects will be preferred.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
