Core Responsibilities Purchase & Procurement (Civil)

- Material Sourcing: Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for civil construction materials, tools, and machinery.
- Purchase Orders: Raise Purchase Orders (POs) based on Material Requisitions (MRs) received from project sites.
- Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with site engineers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials to prevent project delays.
- Market Analysis: Track market trends, price fluctuations of core commodities (like steel and cement), and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure procured materials meet the technical specifications and quality standards defined by the project team.

Accounts & Financial Management

- Invoice Verification: Verify vendor invoices against POs, Delivery Challans (DCs), and Goods Received Notes (GRNs).
- Bookkeeping: Record daily financial transactions, purchase entries, and expenses into accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP/Prime, SAP).
- Vendor Payments: Process vendor and subcontractor bills, manage payment schedules, and handle outstanding aging reports.
- Reconciliation: Perform regular vendor account reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
- Taxation Compliance: Ensure proper implementation of GST, TDS, and other relevant statutory deductions on civil contracts and purchases.

Inventory & Site Coordination

- Stock Monitoring: Monitor site inventory levels to prevent over-stocking or material stock-outs.
- Logistics Tracking:



Oversee transportation and freight charges to optimize logistics costs.
- Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits regarding inventory physical verification and purchase entries.

Role Requirements Education & Experience

- Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) ,MBA Finance, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (A diploma in Civil Engineering combined with commercial experience is a robust plus).
- Experience: 4 to 10 years of proven experience handling both accounts and procurement specifically within the construction, infrastructure,

Technical Skills

Software: Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime, SAP, or industry-specific ERP software.

- MS Office: Advanced skills in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) for cost comparison sheets and inventory tracking.
- Tax Knowledge: Sound understanding of GST rates for construction materials, reverse charge mechanisms (RCM), and TDS under the Income Tax Act.

Key Competencies

- Negotiation: Strong bargaining skills to secure competitive pricing and favorable payment terms.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in matching commercial documents (PO, GRN, Invoice) to prevent financial leakages.
- Communication: Clear verbal and written skills to coordinate effectively between site teams, corporate management, and external vendors.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
