Role Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and versatile French Tutor & Community Outreach Intern to join our team. In this role, you will facilitate engaging French language sessions across our partner community centres and foundations while actively contributing to curriculum design and institutional fundraising initiatives.

Key Details:

- Role Type: Part-time Internship
- Workload: Up to 20 hours per week
- Schedule: 4 days per week (2 days in-office, 2 days at community centres/partner foundations)
- Compensation: Performance-based stipend

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct interactive, conversational French learning sessions at associated community centres and partner foundations (2 days/week).
- Create an encouraging, inclusive learning workplace tailored to community participants.
- Support the development and enhancement of French learning materials, worksheets, and lesson plans (2 days/week).




- Assist with NGO operations, institutional outreach, and community fundraising campaigns.
- Maintain attendance records, evaluate student engagement, and coordinate with centre leaders.

Requirements:

- Good proficiency in French (conversational/instructional capability; DELF/DALF certification or French studies preferred).
- Enrolled in or recently completed an undergraduate/postgraduate program (Languages, Education, Social Work, Humanities, or related fields).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel locally to assigned community centres and attend scheduled office days.
- Passionate about non-profit education and grassroots social impact.
