Role Description The Research and Development Specialist is a full time, on-site role based in the Greater Chennai Area. The specialist will support the design and execution of R&D; initiatives that strengthen institutional strategies, educational models, and innovation frameworks. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting qualitative and quantitative research, analyzing data and trends, supporting the development and testing of new methodologies or solutions, and preparing reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and client stakeholders. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, engaging with partners and subject-matter experts, and contributing to pilot projects and proof-of-concept studies.



The specialist will also help maintain organized research processes, ensure adherence to quality standards, and assist in translating research insights into practical recommendations. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Research and Development (R&D;) and Research skills for designing studies, exploring recent concepts, and supporting innovation projects.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify patterns, and generate evidence-based insights for institutional strategies.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to present findings clearly, collaborate with diverse teams, and prepare professional reports and proposals.
• Candidates should possess relevant Laboratory Skills where applicable, including careful data handling, documentation, and adherence to research protocols.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, science, education, management, or related fields are beneficial.
• Experience in institutional consulting, education technology, innovation ecosystems, or strategy projects is an advantage.
