Role DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Solar Design Engineer to join our growing team. The candidate will be responsible for designing residential and commercial solar PV systems, preparing detailed CAD drawings, electrical single-line diagrams, and permit-ready plan sets. The role involves analyzing site information, performing electrical calculations, ensuring compliance with NEC and local electrical codes, addressing AHJ and utility comments, and coordinating with project managers and installation teams to deliver accurate and productive solar designs.

Key Responsibilities
• Design residential and commercial solar PV systems.
• Prepare solar layouts, site plans, roof plans,



and electrical single-line diagrams.
• Create permit-ready drawings using AutoCAD and solar design software.
• Perform PV string sizing, inverter selection, load calculations, and voltage drop analysis.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, IEC, and applicable electrical codes.
• Review project details and resolve design-related technical issues.
• Handle AHJ comments, permit revisions, and utility corrections.
• Coordinate with project managers and installation teams to ensure timely project delivery. Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year and maximum 3 years of professional hands-on experience in solar PV system design.
• Practical experience in residential or commercial solar design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and solar design software such as Aurora, HelioScope, PVsyst, or similar tools.
• Good understanding of NEC, electrical codes, and US solar permitting requirements.
• Knowledge of PV string sizing, inverter selection, and electrical calculations.
• Familiarity with battery storage, grid-tied, and hybrid solar systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Salary & Compensation₹12,000 – ₹25,000 per month (Negotiable based on skills, practical solar design experience, and technical expertise). Important Note
• Candidates must have prior professional experience in solar PV system design. Freshers without practical solar design experience will not be considered.environment.
