Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with Minimum 3 years of experience in product design, manufacturing engineering, or product design engineering technology (Rapid proto typing/ Reverse Engineering). Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with Minimum 5 years of experience in product design, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or product design engineering. Candidates should be familiar with the medical devices and they wish to work with. Software Knowledge: Siemens NX, SOLIDWORKS, AUTO CAD

Job Description
Familiar with the uses of computer-aided design (CAD) software to create, test and improve product designs for a range of consumer goods and manufacturing processes. To be involved with every step of the development process from the blueprint of an idea to production. 3D parametric product design, assemblies, High-end complex surface modeling and managing massive multi-part assemblies. Desired Experiences:
• Mold Design and Development: Create complete, fabrication-ready 3D CAD models, 2D detailed engineering drawings, and assembly layouts for cores, cavities, sliders, and sub-assemblies using software like SolidWorks, UG/NX.
• Hot Runner and Component Selection: Select appropriate hot or cold runner systems, cooling layouts, hydraulics, pneumatics, and standard mold bases.
• Design for Manufacturability (DFM):



Evaluate part geometry for wall thickness, draft angles, parting lines, gate locations, and material shrinkage to ensure seamless production.
• Thorough knowledge of Siemens NX, SOLIOD WORKS Design software for Design develop concept.
• Documentation and Bill of Materials (BOM): Prepare detailed BOMs for procurement, manage design revisions, and maintain complete technical documentation for tool fabrication. Stay up to date on current industry trends and market conditions.
• Coordinate with other design team members to ensure consistent and accurate communication.
• Work closely with product engineers to suggest improvements for products and processes.
• Present product design ideas to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
• Work on ideas as part of a team or developing design concepts using computer-aided design (CAD).
• Produce detailed, final hand drawings and specifications or, more likely, using dedicated computer software (CAD) / Siemens NX/Solid Work to produce design specifications.
• Make samples or working models by hand or by using computerized prototyping equipment (3D Printing).
