Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, and requirements.
• Gather, analyse, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, use cases, and process flows.
• Translate business requirements into clear specifications for development and implementation teams.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, QA engineers, project managers, and business teams.
• Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for optimisation, automation, and improvement.
• Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and root-cause analysis to support business decisions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and requirement prioritisation, where applicable.
• Support solution design, functional testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and defect resolution.
• Validate delivered solutions against business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and analytical insights to support decision-making.
• Manage stakeholder communication, requirement changes, dependencies, and project documentation.
• Support implementation, deployment, and post-production enhancements. Required Skills & Experience
• 5
- 10 years of experience in Business Analysis, Functional Analysis, or a related role.
• Strong expertise in requirements gathering, documentation, stakeholder management, and process mapping.
• Experience preparing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases,



and acceptance criteria.
• Solid analytical, logical reasoning, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional business and technology teams.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and software development processes.
• Experience with UAT, test scenarios, defect tracking, and solution validation.
• Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, Visio, or equivalent platforms. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in digital transformation, enterprise applications, SaaS products, or technology implementation projects.
• Knowledge of SQL, data analysis, reporting tools, or BI platforms.
• Exposure to APIs, system integrations, workflow automation, or data flows.
• Experience with process modelling, BPMN, or other business process documentation techniques.
• Domain experience in BFSI, IT, consulting, e-commerce, healthcare, or other relevant industries.
• Relevant bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Finance, or Management. Ideal Candidate Profile
