Job Summary: The InDesign Graphic Designer will be responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing visual and typography layout strategies to strengthen Vibrant Publishers’ brand presence, expand market reach, and drive publication quality. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and hands-on execution using Adobe InDesign.

Key Responsibilities
Layout & Design
• Develop and implement comprehensive design strategies to promote and format books across domestic and international markets.
•
• Define positioning, styling, and visual grid layouts for new and existing titles.
• Monitor competitor design trends and publishing standards to adapt internal strategies. Team Collaboration
• Work with Sales, Editorial, and Marketing teams to align book layouts with goals.
• Coordinate with internal teams and print vendors to ensure high production quality.




• Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style across all platforms. Production & Execution
• Manage complex typesetting layouts, paragraph/character stylesheets, and master pages.
• Plan and execute print-ready mechanicals and optimized digital files (PDF, ePub) to enhance visual visibility.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Applied Arts, Communications, or related field.
• 1–3 years of design experience, with strong proficiency in digital layout workflows.
• Advanced expertise in Adobe InDesign (nested styles, baseline grids, master pages).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Google Suite, MS Office, and standard digital design utilities.
• Must Have Book Publishing, Academic Publishing, Ed Tech or Education Sector layout experience.
