We are looking for an experienced Embedded Linux BSP & Camera Software Engineer to develop and integrate software for next-generation AI-powered camera systems.
The candidate will take end-to-end ownership of Embedded Linux BSP development, board bring-up, device drivers, camera sensor integration, ISP integration and tuning, and multimedia pipeline development on ARM-based platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Embedded Linux BSPs for ARM-based SoCs/SBCs, including kernel configuration, device tree, boot configuration, and root filesystem integration.
- Perform board bring-up and develop, integrate, and debug Linux kernel device drivers.
- Integrate high-resolution CMOS image sensors, preferably Sony STARVIS/STARVIS 2, over MIPI CSI-2.
- Develop and debug sensor drivers, I2C register configurations, and camera initialization sequences.
- Integrate and optimize ISP pipelines for image quality, exposure, white balance, noise reduction, WDR/HDR, and low-light performance, where supported by the platform.
- Integrate and debug platform peripherals, including Ethernet, I2C, SPI, USB, eMMC, microSD, and QSPI flash.
- Optimize video FPS, latency, memory usage, CPU utilization, and system stability.
- Perform camera validation, multimedia debugging, stress testing, and platform reliability testing.
- Collaborate with the hardware team on board-level integration and with the separate AI team on video-frame delivery and AI inference integration.
