· Develop mechanical designs, general arrangement drawings, equipment and piping layouts, sections and installation details using AutoCAD.

· Prepare and review equipment specifications, technical datasheets, bills of quantities and material take-offs.

· Review vendor datasheets, drawings, technical offers and supporting documents against project specifications, design requirements and interface conditions; track comments through closure.

· Coordinate with process, civil, structural, electrical and instrumentation teams to finalise equipment interfaces, foundations, openings, clearances and maintenance access.

· Coordinate with vendors and site teams to resolve technical queries, installation issues and drawing discrepancies; incorporate approved changes into revised and as-built drawings.

· Maintain drawing registers,



revision control and engineering schedules; prepare technical responses and close consultant or client review comments.

Qualifications and Skills

· BE or BTech in Mechanical Engineering with 4–8 years of relevant mechanical design experience, preferably in STP, WTP or industrial water treatment projects.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; familiarity with 3D CAD software is an advantage.

· Ability to interpret P&IDs;, mechanical GA drawings and vendor documents, with sound knowledge of equipment, piping, materials and applicable engineering standards.

· Strong technical documentation, communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple engineering deliverables and support site execution.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
