SAP WM Configuration & Implementation
Analyze business requirements and design SAP WM solutions.
Configure warehouse structures including:
Warehouse Number
Storage Types
Storage Sections
Storage Bins
Quant Management
Configure Putaway and Picking Strategies.
Setup Warehouse Movements and Transfer Orders.
Configure Storage Unit Management (SUM).
Implement Inventory Management and Physical Inventory processes.
Participate in end-to-end SAP WM implementations and rollouts.
Warehouse Operations Management
Manage inbound and outbound warehouse processes.
Configure and support:
Goods Receipt (GR)
Goods Issue (GI)
Transfer Posting
Stock Transfer
Replenishment
Cross-Docking
Optimize warehouse utilization and space management.
Support cycle counting and inventory reconciliation activities.
Integration Activities
Integrate SAP WM with:
SAP MM (Materials Management)
SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)




SAP PP (Production Planning)
SAP QM (Quality Management)
SAP LE (Logistics Execution)
Work with RF (Radio Frequency) solutions and barcode scanning systems.
Support interfaces with third-party WMS and automation systems.
Support & Enhancements
Provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support.
Identify and resolve SAP WM issues.
Work on enhancement requests and process improvements.
Perform root cause analysis for warehouse-related incidents.
Prepare functional specifications for custom developments.
Testing & Documentation
Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDD).
Create Test Scripts and Test Scenarios.
Conduct Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and Regression Testing.
Develop training documents and SOPs.
Support end-user training activities.
