Role Description The Omni Sports Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, supporting customers across multiple sports categories and channels. In this role, the advisor will welcome and guide customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable sports products and solutions for various skill levels and budgets. The advisor will maintain product displays and in-store merchandising, ensure stock availability, and contribute to inventory checks and replenishment. Daily responsibilities include providing product demonstrations, supporting customers with services such as repairs and exchanges, and helping promote Decathlon’s sustainability and circular initiatives. The role also involves collaborating with teammates,



participating in local sports events or activations, and using digital tools to support an integrated online and offline customer experience. Qualifications
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to listen actively, explain product features clearly, and build trust with a diverse range of customers.
• Interest in and practical knowledge of multiple sports (e.g., fitness, outdoor, team sports, racket sports), with the ability to advise beginners and experienced athletes alike.
• Basic retail skills, including product merchandising, stock handling, point-of-sale operations, and attention to store presentation and cleanliness.
• Comfort using digital tools and platforms to check stock, process orders, and support an omni-channel experience for customers.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team, adapt to a dynamic store environment, and take initiative to solve problems and support teammates.
• Commitment to Decathlon’s values of inclusivity, sustainability, and authenticity, with an interest in promoting repair, resale, and responsible product use.
• Willingness to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by store operations.
• Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is beneficial but not mandatory; a strong motivation to learn and grow is highly valued.
