SWECO is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois and contributes to the growth of reliable, utility-scale wind energy projects. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site QA/QC role located in Buhana. The QA/QC qualified will perform daily inspections and tests on materials, components, and completed work to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include implementing quality assurance procedures, monitoring quality control processes, documenting nonconformities, and coordinating corrective and preventive actions. The role involves supporting audits, maintaining quality records, verifying adherence to manufacturing and installation specifications, and collaborating with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.



The QA/QC professional will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, risk mitigation efforts, and training related to quality standards and best practices. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, with proven experience applying these practices in industrial, manufacturing, or energy-sector environments.
• Knowledge of Quality Management principles, including development, implementation, and improvement of quality systems and documentation.
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or comparable operational standards, and ability to ensure consistent adherence on-site.
• Experience in Quality Auditing, including planning and conducting internal audits, reporting findings, and following up on corrective actions.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field; professional certifications in quality (e.g., CQI, CQA, Six Sigma) are an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards; familiarity with wind energy or heavy industrial projects is beneficial.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capability to work safely in an on-site environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and maintain clear, accurate quality records.
