Role Description The PLC role is a full time position based in Dharwad, structured as a hybrid role that allows a combination of on-site work and some work from home. The PLC professional will be responsible for programming, configuring, and maintaining PLC systems used in drivetrain and e-Propulsion manufacturing and testing environments. Day-to-day tasks include developing control logic, troubleshooting automation issues, optimizing production processes, and ensuring system reliability and safety. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional engineering, maintenance,



and production teams to implement improvements, support new product introductions, and integrate updated technologies into existing systems. Documentation of control strategies, adherence to industry standards, and continuous monitoring of system performance will be key aspects of this position. Qualifications
• Strong proficiency in PLC programming, configuration, and troubleshooting using common industrial platforms (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or equivalent).
• Experience with industrial automation, including sensors, actuators, drives, HMIs, and SCADA systems, with the ability to integrate and optimize these components.
• Solid understanding of electrical and control engineering principles, safety standards, and protocols relevant to manufacturing and test environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation, and to create clear, accurate technical reports.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
• Prior experience in automotive, drivetrain, or e-Propulsion manufacturing or testing is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate with operations, maintenance, and design teams to support continuous improvement.
