Role Description The Finance Intern role is a remote internship position that supports the finance and accounting functions of Weskill. On a day-to-day basis, the intern will assist in reviewing and analyzing financial data, helping prepare and update financial statements, and supporting basic accounting entries and reconciliations. The intern will also contribute to research on financial trends, assist with internal reporting, and help document processes and findings in a clear and organized manner. Collaboration with team members across departments and effective communication of financial insights will be an key part of the role. Qualifications




• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify key insights.
• Foundational knowledge of finance and familiarity with financial concepts and practices.
• Understanding of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Basic accounting skills, including journal entries, reconciliations, and record-keeping.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for presenting financial information clearly.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel or similar applications).
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and collaborate with a distributed team.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn from feedback.
• Interest in startups, online education, or corporate finance is a plus.
