Responsibilities:
• Communicating with the chef at the end of every day to determine the menu for the next day as per the diet chart and then determining an 8 course meal on consultation with the dietician.
• Ascertaining quantity of food which is determined with the help of the occupancy chart.
• Maintaining quality check on food produced on consultation with the dietician and carrying out day to day checks on the quality.
• To maintain kitchen staff, service staff and people management.
• Incorporating the addition of recent patients admission so as to keep the food plan updated.
• To ensure that service ethics are in order.
• Routine preparation of customers menu and staff menu.
• Delegating orders for the preparation of the daily menu and creating food production plans.
• Co-ordinating with the arrangements of Food for CMEs, MBA, Annual Celebration, orientation programme.
• Reviewing the Feedback and giving explanation for the complaints received.
• Handling Patient complaints and finding solution for the better service.
• Observing the maintenance of high hygiene and cleanliness level in the Kitchen.
• To maintain Kitchen equipment regularly for the smooth functioning of the Kitchen Operations.
• To monitor daily work practices for the service and production.




• Lead subordinates successfully into productive working methods.
• To ensure that the set standards are kept and staff members work according to their

job description

• Carrying out quality and rate analysis of groceries and vegetables on a weekly basis.
• Conducting meetings with the team members and preparing minutes of meeting.
• Making sure that the kitchen is fumigated every 10 days.
• Supervising kitchen inventory and service crockery inventories.
• Analyzing and adopting various different methods that could help contribute to a reduction in costs.
• Preparing Monthly reports like Sales report, Profit and Loss report and submitting the reports for monthly meeting to Unit Head and Finance Head.
• To conduct training and counseling classes for all F & B Personnel which would help to provide a high level of service to the patients, staff and customers. Skills Set:
