Role Description The Quality Assurance Engineer role is a full time hybrid position based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the Quality Assurance Engineer will design, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases to ensure software quality across web and mobile applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing manual testing, identifying and documenting defects, collaborating with developers and product teams to resolve issues, and validating fixes before release. The role also involves participating in sprint activities,



contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes, and helping to define clear quality standards for new and existing features.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Test Execution and Test Cases, with the ability to plan and run structured tests across multiple environments.
- Experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, ensuring products meet functional, performance, and usability requirements.
- Proficiency in Manual Testing, including exploratory testing and detailed defect reporting.
- Familiarity with test management tools, issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira), and version control practices.
- Understanding of agile methodologies and experience working within cross-functional product or engineering teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and a focus on user experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup, managing time and priorities across office-based and remote work.
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; ISTQB or similar testing certification is a plus.
