Description:

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient GCP solutions.
- Develop and optimize enterprise datasets in BigQuery.
- Design partitioned and clustered schemas.
- Write advanced SQL and tune query performance.
- Manage BigQuery data lifecycles, ingestion, and cost optimization.
- Build data pipelines using Dataflow, Apache Beam, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
- Support batch and streaming ingestion of structured and unstructured data.
- Deploy applications using Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, or GKE.
- Provision and manage GCP infrastructure using Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Configure and manage IAM, service accounts, Secret Manager, and VPC security controls.
- Monitor systems using Cloud Logging and Cloud Monitoring.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve application availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with application development, data, DevOps, and security teams.
- Required Qualifications

- 3–5 years of professional software engineering or cloud engineering experience.
- At least 2 years of hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience.




- Practical experience with BigQuery architecture, advanced SQL, schema design, and query optimization.
- Experience with Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, or GKE.
- Experience with Cloud Pub/Sub and Cloud Storage.
- Knowledge of Cloud SQL, Firestore, or Cloud Bigtable.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts and large-scale data ingestion.
- Experience with Docker, Git, and automated deployment processes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Robust understanding of cloud monitoring, troubleshooting, reliability, and cost optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Developer certification.
- Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification.
- Experience with Apache Beam and Google Cloud Dataflow.
- Experience writing reusable Terraform modules.
- Knowledge of IAM, service accounts, Secret Manager, and VPC security principles.
- Experience supporting Java-based cloud applications or microservices.
- Familiarity with Java SDK-based batch and streaming pipelines.
