Founded and built by Dr. Menaka Manickaraj, Screen Smart Movement (SSM) is driven by her over 20 years of experience working in the field of child development and education.

Through her work and commitment to children's well-being, Dr. Menaka has built a robust network and reach, impacting 40,000+ students and engaging with 80–100 schools.

Building on this experience, Screen Smart Movement aims to help children develop healthier relationships with technology and rediscover the value of real-world experiences.

Bringing together psychology, education, creativity and performing arts, SSM works towards promoting digital wellness, holistic child development, emotional well-being and meaningful human connections.

About the Role

We are looking for passionate and committed professionals who want to contribute to initiatives focused on child development, digital wellness, behavioural observation and experiential learning.

The role involves working with children, observing and documenting behavioural patterns, collaborating with parents and educators, and supporting programmes that encourage creativity, emotional expression and overall development.

We welcome applications from qualified Clinical Psychology professionals as well as experienced teachers and educators who are passionate about working with children.

Key Responsibilities

- Observe and document children's behavioral patterns and developmental changes.
- Support child-centered programmes, workshops and experiential learning activities.
- Work closely with parents, teachers and educational institutions.




- Contribute to initiatives promoting digital wellness and healthy screen habits.
- Assist in designing and facilitating activities involving creativity, storytelling, theater and drama.
- Maintain appropriate records and documentation.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement child development initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant qualification in Clinical Psychology, Psychology, Education, Early Childhood Education or Special Education.
- Teachers with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience are encouraged to apply.
- Diploma in Psychology is desirable.
- Formal training or certification in Special Education is an advantage.
- Experience working with children and observing behavioural changes.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and documentation skills.
- Exposure to theatre, drama, dance, music, storytelling or other performing arts is an added advantage.
