Role Description: The Payments Associate Intern will support the team with day-to-day operational and analytical tasks related to payments consulting and advisory projects. Responsibilities include assisting with data collection and analysis, preparing client-ready documents and presentations, and supporting research on payment trends, regulations, and market developments, especially within APAC. The intern will collaborate with consultants on live engagements, help coordinate internal and external meetings, and contribute to process documentation and reporting. This is an internship role, based in office in Hyderabad, requiring regular presence at the office and close collaboration with local and remote team members.

Qualifications

- Foundational skills in data analysis and reporting, including proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and comfort working with structured data.
- Strong research and documentation skills, with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into clear summaries and presentations.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English, with attention to detail and accuracy in client-facing materials.
- Basic understanding or interest in payments, fintech, or financial services, including card networks, digital wallets, and online commerce.
- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional, multicultural teams.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in business, finance, economics, technology, or a related field.
- Comfort with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, project management or CRM tools) is beneficial.
- Curiosity, willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to taking ownership of tasks and seeking guidance when needed.
