Position description: The role involves overseeing and optimizing electrical and automation operations within the Sinter Plant at Jindal Ferrous Limited, a leading company in the Mining & Metals industry. The position requires managing a team to ensure efficient plant performance, adherence to safety standards, and continuous improvement of electrical and automation systems. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement creative solutions that enhance productivity and reliability while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise the electrical and automation team to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of the Sinter Plant's E&A; systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for electrical equipment and automation controls to minimize downtime.
- Monitor plant performance metrics and troubleshoot electrical and automation issues to optimize operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and safety departments to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage projects related to electrical system upgrades, automation enhancements,



and integration of new technologies within the plant.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of electrical systems, maintenance activities, and compliance reports.
- Conduct training sessions for team members on new technologies, safety protocols, and best practices in electrical and automation operations.
- Analyze system failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve system reliability.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors for procurement, installation, and commissioning of electrical and automation equipment.
- Support budgeting and cost control activities related to electrical and automation operations within the Sinter Plant.
