Core Duties & Responsibilities

- Read Blueprints: Interpret technical drawings, engineering specs, and welding symbols to plan layouts.
- Operate Equipment: Use MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), arc (SMAW), and gas welding tools.
- Prepare Materials: Cut, grind, clamp, and clean metal surfaces before and after welding.
- Position Components: Weld metal pieces in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using jigs and fixtures.
- Inspect Quality: Check finished welds for cracks, warping, or structural defects to ensure safety standards are met.
- Maintain Safety: Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and keep the workspace ventilated and clear of hazards. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification:



Preferred welding certification from organizations like the American Welding Society (AWS) or NCCER.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in various welding processes, metal properties, and power/hand tool operation.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and work in diverse indoor or outdoor environments. [1, 2]

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
