Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and effective Duty Engineer to join our team in Chennai, India. As a Duty Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational excellence of our facility by ensuring all building systems are functioning optimally and addressing maintenance issues promptly.

- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest and staff maintenance requests, resolving issues efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance using computerized systems
- Implement and support preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life




- Monitor energy usage and actively participate in energy conservation initiatives
- Respond to emergencies such as power failures, equipment breakdowns, and safety hazards with a sense of urgency
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and servicing
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, including local building codes and regulations
- Assist in supervising maintenance staff or technicians during shifts as required
- Participate in shift rotations, including nights, weekends, and holidays, demonstrating flexibility and resilience
