Job Description:

- A. Inbound Operations Management

- Manage the end-to-end inbound process, including shipment receiving, physical verification, GRN creation, system posting, and putaway.

- Monitor daily inbound volumes, pending inward, ageing inventory, and receiving TAT.

- Ensure all inward transactions are completed within defined SLAs.

- Plan manpower, workstations, and dock capacity according to daily and seasonal business volumes.

- Investigate discrepancies involving shortages, excess quantities, incorrect SKUs, barcode mismatches, damaged items, and documentation errors.

- Ensure inventory traceability throughout the inbound process.

- Coordinate with the inventory control team to resolve stock mismatches and system-related issues.

- B. Team & Manpower Management

- Lead and manage inbound executives, supervisors and warehouse associates.

- Define daily productivity targets and monitor individual and team performance.

- Prepare manpower plans, shift rosters, and allocation plans.

- Train team members on SOPs, jewellery handling, security protocols, and system transactions.

- Develop team capability, ownership, accountability, and a continuous improvement culture.

- C. Security, Compliance & Loss Prevention

- Ensure strict adherence to high-value jewellery handling and security procedures.

- Maintain proper handover records, shipment documentation,



access controls, and audit trails.

- Follow company policies for CCTV monitoring, secure storage, restricted access, and dual verification wherever applicable.

- Ensure compliance with internal audits, statutory requirements, and company SOPs.

- Investigate and report potential pilferage, losses, process deviations, and security incidents.

- D. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

- Coordinate with manufacturing units, suppliers, transporters, quality teams, merchandising, finance, and inventory control.

- Track vendor dispatch schedules and inbound shipment documentation.

- Resolve vendor-related discrepancies and ensure timely closure of pending GRNs and invoices.

- Work with cross-functional teams to prevent inbound delays and downstream order fulfilment issues.

- E. Process Improvement & Cost Optimisation

- Conduct root cause analysis for inwarding delays, inventory mismatches, and productivity gaps.

- Implement process improvements using Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and standardisation techniques.

- Improve manpower productivity, reduce processing TAT, and minimise rework.

- Automate or simplify manual processes using WMS, ERP, dashboards, and data analytics.

- Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency, accuracy, and cost per unit.
