- INTERIOR DESIGNER Eka Design Studio | Full-Time | Hybrid | PCMC (Pune) About Eka Design Studio Eka Design Studio is an interior design practice focused on creating thoughtful, functional, and aesthetically refined spaces that reflect the people who experience them. From space planning and detailed drawings to 3D visualisation, material selection, and final styling, we approach every project with attention to detail and a personalised design sensibility. At Eka, we believe that spaces should feel like a deep breath after a long day. Role Overview We are looking for a proactive, creative, and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to work closely with the founder across a variety of interior design projects. This is a full-time hybrid role involving work from home for design development and documentation, along with regular site visits, client meetings, and material selections across Pune and PCMC. Roles & Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed 2D drawings, furniture layouts, electrical layouts, ceiling plans, and working drawings.
* Develop furniture details, elevations, sections, and execution drawings.
* Create and modify 3D models and visualisations based on project requirements.
* Assist with space planning, design development, and material, finish, furniture, and lighting selections.
* Accompany the Principle Designer on site visits to take measurements, assess site conditions, and coordinate design requirements.
* Attend client meetings, vendor visits, and material selections whenever required.
* Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other project stakeholders to communicate design requirements.
* Maintain organised project drawings, documentation, and revisions.
* Manage assigned tasks independently while ensuring accuracy,



quality, and timely delivery. Qualifications & Skills Required
* A completed degree or diploma in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
* Positive working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp.
* Basic understanding of 3D visualisation and rendering workflows.
* Familiarity with interior materials, finishes, furniture detailing, and construction drawings.
* Ability to read plans, take site measurements, and translate design concepts into accurate drawings.
* Working knowledge of MS Office for documentation and project coordination.
* Knowledge of D5 Render, V-Ray, or similar rendering software is preferred.
* Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
* Good time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Work Requirements

* Work Mode: Hybrid — work from home for design and documentation tasks, with on-site visits as required.

* Candidates must be based in Pune or PCMC and comfortable travelling to project sites.
* Must be available for site visits, client meetings, and material selections whenever required.
* Candidates should have their own laptop with the necessary design software installed.
