About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Production professional from a mass-production manufacturing company catering to Automotive OEMs (OE). The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, ensuring customer satisfaction through on-time manufacturing, improving productivity, reducing operating costs, and driving continual improvement across production operations. The ideal candidate should have experience managing 1,000+ hot-running items, 10+ OEM customers, 100+ workforce, thousands of tools, multiple machines, multiple-level sub
- assemblies, and multiple suppliers/processors.

Key Responsibilities
• Ensure customer satisfaction by achieving production as per planned delivery schedules.
• Prepare and monitor production plans, ensuring Schedule Plan vs. Actual achievement of 100%.
• Monitor and achieve targeted production output and productivity.
• Conduct time studies at every process stage and establish optimum quantities and process standards in consultation with management.
• Manage and optimize manpower, machines, tooling, materials, and production resources.
• Drive reduction in operating costs through productivity and process improvements.
• Ensure Zero PPM and Zero Rework through effective process control and preventive actions.
• Monitor production performance and take prompt corrective actions for deviations.
• Drive continual improvement initiatives across production processes.
• Implement and maintain 5S and ergonomic practices on the shop floor.




• Ensure timely preventive maintenance and coordinate breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Conduct capacity mapping and identify opportunities for capacity enhancement and utilization improvement.
• Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, Purchase, Stores, and other departments for smooth production operations. Manage production involving multiple-level sub-assemblies, suppliers, processors, machines, and tooling.
• Support implementation and installation of automation, SPMs, and new production equipment.
• Ensure adherence to IATF 16949 requirements and applicable quality systems in production.
• Analyze production data and implement corrective and preventive actions for productivity, quality, and delivery issues.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and to-the-point production reports to management. Candidate Profile:
• 5–6+ years of relevant experience in mass-production manufacturing, preferably serving Automotive OEMs. Must have experience handling in: o 1,000+ hot-running items o 10+ Automotive OE customers o 100+ workforce o Thousands of tooling o Multiple machines o Multiple-level sub-assemblies o Multiple suppliers/processors Qualification:

Tech. in Production, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of IATF 16949 requirements.
• Solid knowledge of production planning, capacity planning, productivity improvement, and shop-floor management.
• Experience in Automation, commissioning will be preferred.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a target-driven manufacturing environment and deliver results within committed timelines.
Strong reporting and communication skills with a prompt and to-the-point approach. Note: Candidates should be willing to work in rotational shifts.
