SOLUTION ARCHITECT – DATA & AI Experience 10+ Years Employment Type Full-Time Location Bangalore Notice Period Immediate joiners / Serving notice Role Overview We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Solution Architect – Data & AI to define and drive technical direction across multiple products and client engagements. The successful candidate will act as a technical partner to business leadership, establish architecture and engineering standards, solve complex technical challenges, and translate technology decisions into transparent, client-facing strategies.

Key Responsibilities
• Define technical architecture, engineering standards, and reusable design patterns across platforms and client engagements.
• Lead strategic technology decisions, including build-versus-buy evaluations, framework selection, shared capabilities, and production-readiness requirements.
• Remain hands-on by developing critical components, prototyping high-risk ideas, and validating approaches through working code and measurable outcomes.
• Lead technical investigations covering failure modes, reproducibility, performance, and cost-versus-quality trade-offs; communicate findings as evidence-based recommendations.
• Own cross-cutting architecture across AWS and Azure, including data platforms, warehouses, streaming systems, and operational data stores.
• Drive Azure Databricks architecture, including medallion architecture, Unity Catalog governance, Delta Lake, cluster policies, job orchestration, pipeline scalability, Terraform-based infrastructure, and MLflow model lifecycle management.
• Establish standards for evaluation, observability, security, and reproducibility, particularly in regulated environments.
• Build and assess LLM
- and agentic-AI systems, ensuring rigorous evaluation of reliability, calibration, reproducibility, and cost.
• Set engineering expectations, mentor and develop Senior Software Development Engineers (SDEs) and SDEs,



and influence teams through clear technical specifications and documentation.
• Represent technical strategy in discussions with senior stakeholders and clients, translating complex technical work into practical business recommendations. Required Skills & Experience
• 10+ years of relevant experience in software, data, cloud, and solution architecture, with a proven record of designing production-grade systems.
• Strong command of Python and systems design, including the ability to architect and build complex production solutions.
• Deep experience in data and cloud architecture across AWS and Azure, including multi-store data design, distributed systems, streaming, security, and cost optimization.
• Hands-on, production-level Azure Databricks architecture experience, including Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, cluster policy design, job orchestration, and Terraform provisioning.
• Strong understanding of MLflow and model lifecycle management.
• Proven ability to build LLM/agentic systems from core primitives and evaluate them rigorously for reproducibility, calibration, reliability, and cost.
• Working domain knowledge of supply chain and inventory operations, including demand planning, MRP logic, inventory parameters, and the data requirements behind planning decisions.
• Strong architectural judgment, first-principles problem-solving skills, and the ability to assess trade-offs without relying on unnecessary abstraction or trends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients, business leaders, and technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in pharma or other regulated industries.
• Professional-level certification in any major cloud platform (AWS or Azure). Additional Requirements
