Role Description The Assistant Professor in Mathematics will be responsible for delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Mathematics and related areas through lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, developing course materials, evaluating student performance, and providing academic guidance and mentoring. The role also involves participating in curriculum development, engaging in research and scholarly activities, contributing to departmental meetings, and supporting accreditation and quality assurance processes. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Erode,



requiring regular presence on campus and active participation in the academic community. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, with the ability to teach core and advanced topics effectively.
• Competence in related domains such as Physics and Statistics to support interdisciplinary teaching and learning.
• Experience or interest in Curriculum Development, including designing syllabi, assessments, and learning resources.
• Ph.
D. in Mathematics or qualification in SLET/NET (as per regulatory requirements) from a recognized institution.
• Effective classroom management and clear communication skills in English, with the ability to support diverse learners.
• Demonstrated interest in research, publications, or academic projects in Mathematics or related fields.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, participate in departmental activities, and contribute to institutional development.
