Job Description – Junior Field Service Engineer (SMT / Electronics)

Job Summary

We are seeking a technically strong Service Engineer with experience in SMT production equipment, PCBA manufacturing and electronics troubleshooting. The candidate will be responsible for equipment servicing, machine programming, installation, commissioning and customer technical support.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform installation and commissioning of SMT production equipment.
- Handle troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance of SMT machines.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Support machine programming, setup and calibration.
- Diagnose electronics and PCBA-related technical issues.
- Support Pick & Place machines, Printers, SPI, AOI and related equipment.
- Conduct machine performance checks and technical inspections.
- Coordinate with customers to resolve equipment-related problems.
- Maintain service reports, maintenance records and customer feedback.




- Provide technical assistance and training to customers.
- Travel to customer locations across Pune and nearby industrial areas.

Technical Skills Required

- Solid knowledge of SMT and PCBA manufacturing.
- Exposure to Panasonic, Yamaha, JUKI or similar machines.
- Knowledge of SMT machine programming and troubleshooting.
- Electronics circuit analysis and fault diagnosis.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance knowledge.
- Familiarity with testing instruments and RCA.

Educational Qualification

Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, ECE or EEE.

Candidate Profile

- 2–5 years of experience in SMT equipment service, electronics manufacturing or maintenance.
- Good technical troubleshooting skills.
- Customer-handling and communication abilities.
- Willingness to travel across the assigned territory.
