- Job Summary

Light Finance is hiring a Senior Manager I Chief Manager to own end-to-end risk for its quick-growing partnership and digital lending business – co-lending, fintech/LSP-sourced loans and on-lending to partner institutions.

- Key Responsibilities

- Partner onboarding: Own Risk sign-off for new co-lenders, LSPs, fintechs and NBFC/MFI partners; lead due diligence visits and a weighted Partner Risk Rating model.
- Limits & agreements: Set partner exposure, product, geography and DLG limits; review risk clauses in MSA and co-lending agreements.
- Credit policy & BRE: Define product-wise credit policy, convert it into BRE rules, manage deviations and run portfolio stress tests.
- Transaction & fraud control: Build automated pre-disbursement checks (KYC, bureau, de-dupe, penny drop) and exception reports for early defaults and fraud.
- Monitoring & EWS: Own the partner Risk MIS,



calibrate Early Warning Signals, and run monthly offsite reviews and onsite partner visits.
- Governance & compliance: Track partner adherence to RBI digital lending and co-lending norms, DPDP Act and grievance redressal.
- Event & market risk: Assess sector, geography and event risks; keep contingency plans for every material partner.
- Team & stakeholders: Lead a small team of risk analysts and work closely with Business, Compliance, Finance and Tech.

- Desired Profile

Qualifications:

- CA I CS I ICWAI (CMA), or MBA (Finance) – full-time, regular from a premier institute.
- 5-6 years in credit/risk at NBFCs, MFls, banks or fintechs, incl. 3+ years in partnership, co lending or fintech/LSP risk.
- Strong grasp of RBI digital lending & co-lending norms; advanced Excel (SQL I Power Bl preferred).
