Job Summary

Responsible for managing and maintaining the factory store, including receiving, issuing, storing and tracking raw materials, hardware, tools and other production-related items. Ensure proper stock records, material availability and timely supply of materials for factory production.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, invoices and delivery challans.
- Maintain proper stock records of all raw materials, hardware, accessories and consumables.
- Issue materials to production staff based on approved requirements.
- Monitor daily material consumption and update stock registers.
- Maintain records of material receipts, issues, returns and balance stock.
- Ensure proper storage, labelling and arrangement of materials in designated locations.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and report stock differences.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and inform the Purchase Department about material shortages.
- Coordinate with the Procurement Officer for material requirements and pending deliveries.
- Maintain records of tools, machinery accessories and other factory assets.
- Ensure materials are properly handled and protected from damage or wastage.




- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly stock reports.
- Verify materials returned from production and update stock records.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety and proper organization of the store.
- Support production planning by ensuring the availability of required materials on time.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Plus Two / Diploma qualification preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in storekeeping or inventory management.
- Basic knowledge of stock management and inventory control.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and stock register maintenance.
- Ability to verify quantities, materials and delivery documents.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Honesty, responsibility and attention to detail.

Preferred Knowledge

- Interior furniture manufacturing materials.
- Plywood, MDF, HDHMR, laminates and veneers.
- Hardware and accessories such as hinges, channels, handles and fittings.
- Adhesives, screws, edge bands and other production consumables.
- Factory material handling and inventory management.

Reporting To

Factory In-charge / Production Manager.

Key Requirement: The Storeman must ensure accurate stock maintenance, proper material issuing and receiving, and timely availability of all materials required for daily interior factory production.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
