Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Operations Coordinator to oversee and coordinate logistics operations across the North and East Zones. The candidate will be responsible for managing multi-location operations, coordinating with branch teams, transporters, co-loaders, vendors, and delivery partners, and ensuring smooth shipment movement, timely deliveries, and effective resolution of operational issues.

The role requires solid expertise in regional logistics operations, external vendor coordination, shipment tracking, TAT monitoring, escalation management, and MIS reporting. The candidate must be capable of independently managing operational challenges across multiple locations and be willing to travel to branches, co-loader facilities, and vendor locations whenever required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Regional Operations Management

- Oversee daily pickup, dispatch, transit, and delivery operations across the assigned North and East Zones.
- Coordinate with multiple branches to ensure smooth shipment movement and timely operational closures.
- Monitor branch performance and identify operational gaps, delays, and process inefficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, operational processes, and client-specific requirements.
- Support regional operational planning and implement process improvements.

2. External Vendor & Transporter Coordination

- Manage coordination with external transporters, co-loaders, vendors, and logistics service providers.
- Follow up on vehicle placement, pickup schedules, dispatch confirmations, transit updates, and delivery commitments.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with external logistics partners.
- Visit branch offices, co-loader facilities, transporter premises, and vendor locations whenever required to resolve operational issues.
- Address shipment delays, discrepancies, and service-related concerns through direct coordination with external partners.




- Monitor vendor performance and escalate recurring issues to senior management.

3. Shipment Tracking & TAT Monitoring

- Monitor shipment movement across assigned regions and ensure timely delivery within committed TAT.
- Track pending, delayed, undelivered, and high-priority consignments.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates in operational systems.
- Follow up with branches and external partners for shipment status, POD collection, and pending case closures.
- Investigate operational discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.

4. Escalation & Issue Resolution

- Handle critical regional operational escalations and ensure timely resolution.
- Take ownership of long-pending shipment issues and coordinate with concerned teams until closure.
- Identify recurring operational challenges and recommend preventive measures.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, branches, and internal departments to resolve service-related issues.
- Conduct physical visits to external partner locations when necessary to resolve critical operational concerns.

5. MIS, Reporting & Performance Monitoring

- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly operational MIS reports.
- Monitor shipment volumes, TAT performance, pending shipments, delivery status, and POD closures.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, service gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of vendor performance, operational escalations, and branch-level activities.
- Submit regular performance updates and reports to the Zonal Operations Manager.

6. Resource & Process Management

- Coordinate manpower, vehicle, route, and operational resource requirements wherever necessary.
- Support branches in managing capacity constraints and operational bottlenecks.
- Ensure adherence to operational SOPs and documentation standards.




- Monitor completion of assigned action points across branches and external partners.
- Drive operational efficiency and continuous process improvement across the assigned regions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate in any discipline; a qualification in logistics or supply chain management is an added advantage.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in logistics, courier, express, transportation, or supply chain operations.
- Strong experience in multi-location and branch-level logistics operations.
- Hands-on experience managing transporters, co-loaders, vendors, and external logistics partners.
- Excellent understanding of shipment tracking, dispatch operations, TAT monitoring, and POD management.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, MIS reporting, and operational systems.
- Excellent coordination, negotiation, escalation management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage regional operations and multiple operational priorities.
- Willingness to travel across the North and East Zones as required.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Timely pickup, dispatch, transit, and delivery coordination.
- Achievement of committed shipment TAT across assigned locations.
- Reduction in pending shipments, delivery delays, and operational escalations.
- Timely POD collection and closure of outstanding cases.
- Effective coordination and performance management of external vendors.
- Accuracy and timely submission of MIS reports.
- Timely resolution of branch-level and vendor-related issues.
- Compliance with company SOPs and operational guidelines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates with substantial experience managing multi-branch logistics operations across multiple locations will be preferred.
- Experience handling logistics networks across North and East India will be an advantage.
- Must be comfortable visiting branches, co-loaders, transporters, and vendor locations as required.
- Should demonstrate strong operational ownership, independent decision-making, and the ability to manage critical escalations.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹37,000.00 per month
