JOB DESCRIPTION – ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (COMMERCE & MANAGEMENT)

About the Role

Avviare Educational Hub is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Assistant Professor in Commerce & Management to deliver quality education, engage students in academic activities, and contribute to the overall development of the department.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct lectures in Commerce and Management subjects as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Teach subjects such as Financial Accounting, Business Studies, Business Economics, Business Law, Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, Financial Management, and Business Communication, as per specialization.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, presentations, and assignments.
- Conduct internal assessments, evaluate answer sheets, and maintain student academic records.
- Guide and mentor students in academic projects, presentations, case studies, and research activities.
- Support students in developing analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Participate in departmental meetings, seminars, workshops, conferences, and institutional activities.
- Assist in curriculum development, academic planning, and quality improvement initiatives.




- Maintain discipline and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Perform other academic responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department or management.

Required Skills

- Robust subject knowledge in Commerce and Management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective classroom management and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts through practical examples and case studies.
- Good interpersonal, mentoring, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital teaching tools.
- A student-centric approach with a commitment to academic excellence.

Educational Qualifications

- Postgraduate degree in Commerce, Management, or a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- NET/SET or Ph.D. qualification, wherever applicable, in accordance with UGC and institutional norms.
- Relevant teaching experience in a college or university will be preferred.

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
