- Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately.
- Review prescriptions to ensure appropriate dosage, drug interactions, and patient safety.
- Provide patients with information about medication usage, dosage, side effects, and precautions.
- Verify prescriptions and clarify any discrepancies with doctors when necessary.
- Maintain proper storage and handling of medicines according to regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor and manage pharmacy stock, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining inventory.
- Check expiry dates and remove expired or damaged medicines.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, controlled drugs, and medication transactions.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional standards.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to patient queries.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy.
