Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled, professional, and customer-oriented Cosmetologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality beauty, skincare, haircare, and cosmetic services while ensuring exceptional client satisfaction, hygiene, and safety standards.

The Cosmetologist should possess strong technical expertise, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for helping clients enhance their appearance and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Beauty & Cosmetic Services

- Provide professional beauty treatments, including facials, skincare, haircare, makeup, and other cosmetic services.
- Perform haircuts, hairstyling, hair coloring, and chemical treatments based on qualifications and expertise.
- Offer waxing, threading, eyebrow shaping, and other grooming services.
- Provide manicure, pedicure, and nail care services where applicable.
- Recommend suitable treatments based on individual client requirements.

2. Client Consultation & Assessment

- Conduct consultations to understand clients' beauty concerns, preferences, and expectations.
- Assess skin and hair conditions and recommend appropriate cosmetic treatments.
- Explain treatment procedures, expected outcomes, and aftercare instructions.
- Maintain accurate client records, including treatment history, product sensitivities, and preferences.

3. Hygiene & Safety Compliance

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of treatment rooms, tools, and equipment.
- Follow established infection-control and workplace safety procedures.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of cosmetic products and supplies.
- Identify potential contraindications and refer clients to qualified medical professionals when necessary.

4. Customer Service & Relationship Management

- Deliver a welcoming,



comfortable, and professional client experience.
- Build strong relationships with clients to encourage satisfaction and repeat visits.
- Address client questions and concerns professionally.
- Maintain client confidentiality and respect individual preferences.

5. Product Knowledge & Sales

- Stay updated on beauty trends, skincare techniques, and cosmetic products.
- Recommend suitable skincare, haircare, and beauty products.
- Assist with product inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Support promotional activities and service recommendations when appropriate.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Diploma, certification, or professional training in Cosmetology, Beauty Therapy, or a related field.
- Relevant cosmetology license or registration, where required by local regulations.
- Previous experience in a salon, spa, beauty clinic, or aesthetic center is preferred.
- Knowledge of skincare, haircare, beauty treatments, and cosmetic products.
- Familiarity with sanitation, hygiene, and client safety procedures.
- Strong communication, consultation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Professional appearance, attention to detail, and a client-focused approach.

Preferred Skills

- Expertise in advanced facials and skincare treatments.
- Knowledge of modern hairstyling and coloring techniques.
- Bridal and professional makeup skills.
- Familiarity with beauty equipment and non-medical aesthetic procedures.
- Strong time management and appointment scheduling skills.
- Ability to recommend appropriate products and services.
