Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Financial Data Management

- Collect, verify, and maintain daily financial and accounting data.
- Update financial records, spreadsheets, and accounting systems accurately.
- Ensure proper documentation of invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and supporting documents.

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable

- Assist in tracking vendor payments, customer collections, and outstanding balances.
- Verify invoices and payment requests against supporting documents.
- Follow up with internal departments for pending bills and payment approvals.

3. Financial Reporting & Analysis

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Assist in analysing revenue, expenses, cash flow, and cost trends.
- Compare actual financial performance against budgets and highlight variances.
- Provide accurate financial data to support management decisions.

4. Budgeting & Cost Control

- Assist in preparing departmental budgets and expense forecasts.
- Monitor operational expenses and identify unusual spending patterns.
- Support cost-control initiatives and recommend areas for potential savings.

5. Banking & Reconciliation

- Assist in bank statement reconciliation and cash balance verification.




- Verify transactions and investigate discrepancies in financial records.
- Maintain records of bank transfers, receipts, and other financial transactions.

6. Payroll & Expense Verification

- Assist in verifying employee reimbursements, travel allowances, and other expense claims.
- Coordinate with HR and Finance for salary-related financial data, where required.
- Ensure expenses are supported by appropriate bills and approvals.

7. Compliance & Documentation

- Maintain organised financial records for audits and internal reviews.
- Assist in preparing documents required for statutory compliance, GST, TDS, and other applicable tax requirements under the guidance of senior finance personnel.
- Follow company financial policies, approval procedures, and confidentiality standards.

8. Inventory & Operational Finance Support

- Assist in monitoring inventory costs, purchase expenses, and stock-related financial records.
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, operations, and stores teams to verify financial data.
- Support product costing and profitability analysis wherever required.

9. MIS & Management Support

- Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports using Excel or other financial tools.
- Consolidate financial data from different departments.
- Highlight discrepancies, overdue payments, expense variations, and other financial issues to t
