We are expanding our elder care nursing network across Bengaluru and are looking for qualified, compassionate, and responsible Registered Nurses who can provide professional nursing care to senior citizens in the comfort of their own homes.

As a Nursing Partner on Maa Nest, you can create your professional profile, select your preferred service areas, manage your availability, and receive nursing booking requests directly through the Maa Nest app.

You remain in control of which bookings you accept, based on your availability, qualifications, clinical competence, and suitability for the requested care.

This is an independent platform-partner prospect, not a fixed-salary hospital or agency position.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide professional nursing care to senior citizens at their homes, within your qualifications and authorised scope of practice.
- Assess and monitor patients' general health status and report relevant changes to the family or appropriate medical professional.
- Monitor vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation, where clinically indicated.
- Assist with post-hospitalisation recovery and ongoing nursing support as prescribed or clinically appropriate.
- Administer medications and perform nursing procedures only when appropriately authorised, prescribed where required, and within your professional scope.
- Provide wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, and other nursing interventions when qualified, authorised, and appropriate for the assignment.
- Support mobility, personal hygiene, nutrition, hydration, and comfort as required.
- Assist with chronic condition monitoring and care-plan adherence within your competence.
- Educate families and patients on appropriate home-care practices and follow-up instructions within your professional role.
- Identify potential health concerns and escalate urgent situations to the appropriate medical services.
- Maintain accurate records of nursing observations and care provided, where required.
- Follow infection-control protocols, hygiene standards, patient consent, confidentiality, and safety guidelines.
- Maintain punctuality, professional communication, and responsible completion of accepted bookings.
- Comply with Maa Nest's verification, onboarding, and professional conduct requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

- Must hold a recognised nursing qualification, such as GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, or an equivalent qualification accepted for the role.
- Must have valid registration with the applicable State Nursing Registration Council or other competent authority, as required.
- Experience in elder care, bedside nursing, home healthcare, medical-surgical nursing, ICU, rehabilitation, or post-hospitalisation care is preferred.




- Freshly qualified nurses may be considered, subject to registration, competence, and suitability for the requested assignments.
- Solid understanding of nursing fundamentals, infection control, patient safety, and clinical documentation.
- Ability to communicate respectfully and effectively with senior citizens and their families.
- Compassionate, patient, ethical, and dependable approach to nursing care.
- Willingness to complete identity verification and nursing credential checks.
- Ability to travel to clients' homes across selected service areas in Bengaluru.
- Professional indemnity or other credentials, where required by applicable regulations or the nature of the assignment.

Important: Candidates without the required nursing qualifications and registration cannot undertake assignments requiring registered nursing services or clinical nursing procedures.

Depending on the nurse's qualifications, experience, professional authorisation, and the family's requirements, bookings may include:

- Home Nursing Care: Nursing assistance for seniors who require professional support at home.
- Post-Hospitalisation Nursing: Nursing support during recovery following discharge from a hospital.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Monitoring and recording relevant clinical observations as appropriate.
- Medication Administration: Medication-related nursing support in accordance with valid prescriptions, applicable requirements, and professional scope.
- Wound Care and Dressing: Appropriate wound management and dressing changes when qualified and authorised.
- Catheter and Nursing Device Care: Assistance with catheter care and other nursing-related needs within the nurse's competence and authorisation.
- Chronic Condition Support: Monitoring and supporting care routines for seniors with long-term health conditions.
- Mobility and Rehabilitation Support: Assistance with secure movement and prescribed routines within the nurse's training and care plan.
- Personal Care and Comfort: Assistance with hygiene, feeding, positioning, and daily activities as required.
- Overnight and Extended Nursing Care: Longer-duration bookings for seniors requiring nursing observation or support, subject to available packages and booking rules.
- Family Guidance: Practical guidance on home-care routines, patient comfort, and when to seek medical attention.

The specific services available depend on the nurse's approved profile, professional credentials, and the requirements of each booking. Nurses must not perform procedures beyond their competence, registration, or authorisation.

How the Work Model Operates

- Download the Maa Nest app and register as an Elder Care Nursing Partner.
- Complete your professional profile and submit the required nursing credentials.
- Complete the identity verification and onboarding process.
- Select your preferred working areas across Bengaluru.
- Set your availability according to your schedule.
- Receive nursing booking requests from families through the app.
- Review each request and accept or decline it based on your availability,



qualifications, and suitability.
- Visit the patient's home and provide the agreed nursing care for the booked duration.
- Complete the booking through the app.
- Receive payouts for eligible completed bookings according to Maa Nest's applicable payout terms.

There are no fixed office shifts. You choose when you are available and which suitable bookings you accept.

All nursing sessions are subject to service availability, the applicable booking rules, and the professional's approved scope of services.

Verification and Patient Safety

All Nursing Partners must complete Maa Nest's onboarding and verification process before becoming eligible to receive bookings. This includes identity verification, nursing qualification checks, and verification of professional registration where applicable.

Nursing Partners are expected to:

- Treat every senior citizen with dignity, compassion, and respect.
- Obtain informed consent where required and respect patient autonomy and privacy.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and family information.
- Follow infection-prevention, hygiene, and patient-safety practices.
- Maintain appropriate nursing records and communicate relevant clinical observations.
- Escalate emergencies and significant changes in a patient's condition promptly.
- Undertake only those clinical procedures for which they are qualified, competent, and authorised.
- Follow applicable nursing standards, prescriptions, and professional requirements.
