About the Role

Shubhaprada, a saree showroom in Mysuru, is looking for an experienced and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounts, maintain accurate financial records, and coordinate with our external auditor for accounting, taxation, and compliance-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily accounts, books of accounts, and financial records.
- Handle sales and purchase entries, expense tracking, and cash and bank transactions.
- Manage bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and outstanding payments.
- Maintain GST records and assist with GST returns and other applicable tax compliances.
- Coordinate with the external auditor and provide the required statements, invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Assist in preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and year-end accounts.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure accuracy of all accounting records.




- Prepare periodic financial reports and support management with accounting information.

Requirements

- B.Com or equivalent qualification in Commerce/Accounting.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Good working knowledge of Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and ledger management.
- Experience coordinating with Chartered Accountants or external auditors.
- Solid attention to detail, integrity, and organisational skills.
- Retail or showroom accounting experience will be an added advantage.
