A quick-growing, US-headquartered product company is scaling its India hub and has partnered with Flexiple to hire a procurement leader who thinks strategically. You will move buying from reactive to planned, and build supplier relationships that give the business an edge. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.

Role Overview

As a Strategic Procurement Manager, you will own category strategy and long-term sourcing - analysing spend, building should-cost views, and structuring supplier agreements that hold up over time. The emphasis is on planning and total cost, not just transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Category Strategy

- Build category strategies grounded in spend analysis and market insight
- Develop should-cost models and total-cost-of-ownership views
- Run strategic sourcing events and structure multi-year agreements

Supplier Partnerships





- Build strategic supplier relationships and joint improvement plans
- Track savings, risk, and value delivered against the strategy

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 3 to 7 years in strategic sourcing or category management
- Strong analytical skills and comfort modelling cost and spend
- A planning mindset and confident negotiation ability
- Clear written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in a product, tech, or high-growth company
- Exposure to spend-analytics or S2P platforms
- A degree in supply chain or business, or an MBA
