About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on application security consultant to lead client engagements centered on AI-driven source-code security scanning. You will combine AI-assisted analysis with security expertise to identify credible vulnerabilities, guide remediation, and deliver evidence-backed conclusions that clients can act on. You will own delivery from discovery and scoping through scan execution, findings validation, fix verification, and final handover. Working with clients, developers, software vendors, and delivery specialists, you will remain accountable for technical quality, agreed effort and timelines, and complete client-ready deliverables. AI-driven code scanning is the core of this role, not an optional add-on. You will prepare the application context, operate the approved workflow, challenge its outputs, and own the assessment conclusions. This is not a scanner-only, advisory-only, or general penetration-testing position.

KRAs

- Lead client discovery and define applications, repositories, source versions, assessment boundaries, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.
- Gather architecture, sensitive workflows, user roles,



integrations, deployment assumptions, and prior findings.
- Configure and run scans against agreed source baselines, handle failures and approved reruns, and retain scan settings, context, versions, and outputs.
- Validate Findings and Own Technical Conclusions - Investigate AI-generated findings through targeted source-code review and other authorized validation methods.
- Drive Remediation Support and Fix Verification - Maintain the findings register, follow up on agreed actions, coordinate contributors, and resolve technical disagreements through evidence.
- Own Client Communication, Reporting, and Closure - Act as the primary technical contact; lead workshops, findings discussions, and final readouts
- Protect Client Code and Respect Authorization - Confirm approval for source access, AI processing, tool-managed execution, output sharing, and retention before starting relevant activity.
