MLT / Certificate in Phlebotomy Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and patient-friendly Sitting Phlebotomist for our diagnostic laboratory in Goa. The candidate will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients visiting the laboratory, ensuring proper sample handling, accurate labelling, and maintaining hygiene and safety standards. Key Responsibilities - Collect blood samples from patients through venipuncture. - Handle blood collection for routine diagnostic investigations. - Verify patient details and ensure accurate sample labelling. - Maintain proper sample collection, storage, and transportation procedures. - Follow infection-control protocols and biomedical waste disposal guidelines. - Maintain cleanliness and hygiene at the blood collection centre.
- Handle patients professionally and provide a comfortable sample collection experience. - Maintain daily sample collection records and coordinate with laboratory staff. - Ensure proper handling of collection tubes and other laboratory consumables. Educational Qualifications - DMLT / B.Sc. MLT or relevant Phlebotomy Certification. - Candidates with practical blood collection experience will be preferred. Required Skills - Valuable venipuncture and blood collection skills. - Knowledge of different blood collection tubes and sample handling. - Patient handling and communication skills. - Knowledge of infection control and biomedical waste management. - Ability to work independently and manage a collection centre.
