We are seeking an experienced Databricks & Power BI Developer with strong expertise in data engineering, data analytics, and business intelligence. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with Databricks for data processing, transformation, and integration, along with Power BI for developing interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Databricks.
- Work with Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark, and SQL for data processing and transformation.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows to integrate data from multiple sources.
- Build interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.
- Develop complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and data models.
- Integrate Databricks with Power BI for reporting and analytics.
- Perform data cleansing, validation, transformation, and quality checks.
- Optimize Databricks notebooks, Spark jobs, and Power BI reports for performance.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implement data security, governance, and access controls across reporting solutions.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline and dashboard-related issues.

Required Skills & Experience





- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, BI Development, or Analytics.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Power BI.
- Good knowledge of Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark, and SQL.
- Experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformation workflows.
- Strong expertise in Power BI, including:
- Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
- DAX and Power Query
- Data Modelling and Relationships
- Interactive Dashboards and Reports
- Row-Level Security (RLS)
- Experience integrating Databricks with Power BI.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modelling, and dimensional modelling concepts.
- Experience with Azure cloud services is preferred.
- Valuable analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Knowledge of Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric is an added advantage.
- Relevant Databricks or Microsoft Power BI certifications are desirable.
