About Position We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Migration Consultant
- Exchange Online to support large-scale Microsoft 365 transformation and migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Exchange Online, hybrid messaging environments, migration planning, governance, and operational support. This role will focus on providing technical leadership, migration planning, validation, troubleshooting, governance, and operational readiness support during Microsoft FastTrack-led migration programs. The consultant will work closely with project teams, platform owners, business stakeholders, and Microsoft FastTrack resources to ensure successful migration outcomes while maintaining business continuity and operational excellence. The role also requires providing extended support coverage to complement global delivery teams and enable follow-the-sun support across migration and implementation workstreams.

What You'll Do
• Lead Exchange Online administration, governance, and operational support activities.
• Support Microsoft 365 migration programs involving Exchange Online and hybrid messaging environments.




• Collaborate with Microsoft FastTrack teams and project stakeholders on migration planning and execution activities.
• Review and validate mailbox migration strategies, migration waves, and deployment plans.
• Assess and support hybrid Exchange environments, coexistence scenarios, and messaging infrastructure readiness.
• Plan and validate mail flow design, SMTP routing, DNS configurations, transport rules, and messaging security requirements.
• Support migration wave planning, execution monitoring, and post-migration stabilization activities.
• Conduct migration readiness assessments and operational readiness reviews.
• Perform migration validation testing and user acceptance support activities.
• Troubleshoot Exchange Online, mailbox, mail flow, connectivity, and migration-related issues.
• Investigate and resolve messaging incidents, escalations, and service-related challenges.
• Support retention, compliance, governance, and mailbox lifecycle management requirements.
• Provide technical guidance on Exchange Online administration and best practices.
• Collaborate with SharePoint and OneDrive migration teams to ensure alignment across Microsoft 365 workloads.
• Develop deployment runbooks, operational procedures, and support documentation.
• Participate in cutover planning, risk assessments, and remediation activities.
• Support platform implementation initiatives and ongoing service improvement programs.
• Monitor migration progress and provide issue triage, root cause analysis, and resolution recommendations.
• Ensure adherence to organizational governance, security, compliance, and operational standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8-12 years of experience in Microsoft Messaging and Collaboration technologies.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Exchange Online administration and governance.
• Extensive experience with Exchange Hybrid deployments and messaging coexistence configurations.
• Proven experience supporting Exchange Online migration projects and Microsoft 365 transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of mailbox migration methodologies and migration validation processes.




• Expertise in mail flow management, transport rules, connectors, SMTP routing, and messaging security.
• Experience with DNS management, MX records, Autodiscover, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configurations.
• Strong troubleshooting experience across Exchange Online, Outlook, mail delivery, and hybrid messaging environments.
• Experience working with Microsoft FastTrack-led migration engagements.
• Knowledge of retention policies, compliance requirements, and information governance controls.
• Experience with operational readiness assessments, deployment planning, and production support.
• Understanding of SharePoint Online and OneDrive migration concepts is preferred.
• Strong incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 environments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 security, identity, and collaboration services.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work within global delivery models and cross-functional teams.
