Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Robot Programmer role based in Chakan. The Robot Programmer will be responsible for programming industrial robots for welding, assembly, material handling, and related automation processes, and for optimizing robot paths, cycle times, and tooling interfaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating, testing, and debugging robot programs, integrating robots with PLCs and other control systems, and ensuring safe and efficient operation on the shop floor. The role includes collaborating with design, manufacturing, and commissioning teams during installation and buy-off, supporting trials and FAT/SAT at customer sites, and documenting programs, standards, and technical workflows. The Robot Programmer will also provide troubleshooting support,



perform preventive maintenance-related programming updates, and contribute to continuous improvement of automation solutions. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
• Hands-on experience in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) for industrial applications, preferably using languages relevant to robot controllers (e.g., RAPID, KRL, Fanuc TP, or similar).
• Background in Software Development with exposure to control systems or automation, including code versioning, testing, and documentation.
• Understanding of Back-End Web Development concepts is beneficial for integrating robot data with monitoring dashboards or MES systems.
• Experience with industrial robots (e.g., ABB, KUKA, Fanuc, Yaskawa), including calibration, path teaching, and I/O configuration.
• Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, safety systems, and basic electrical and mechanical principles used in automation lines.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, process flow diagrams, and customer specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work safely in a manufacturing workplace.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and interact with customers when required.
• Diploma or degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related field)
