About the Role
Nesto Hypermarket is looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to manage end-to-end human resource operations for its Singanallur branch in Coimbatore. The selected candidate will be based at the Nesto Head Office in Calicut and will be responsible for ensuring effective HR operations, statutory compliance, recruitment, manpower planning, and employee lifecycle management for the hypermarket. The ideal candidate should have strong HR operational knowledge, excellent communication skills, the ability to coordinate with business and store teams, and a hands-on approach to managing people-related activities in a retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle, from joining and onboarding to separation and exit formalities.
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files.
- Coordinate employee onboarding, attendance, leave administration, transfers, confirmations, and exit procedures.
- Ensure timely completion of employee documentation and HR processes. 2. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate statutory documentation, inspections, audits, and submissions as required.
- Maintain relevant compliance records and monitor statutory deadlines.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external authorities or consultants whenever required. 3. Recruitment and Manpower Planning
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment for the hypermarket, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and joining.
- Work with store management to identify vacancies and manpower requirements.
- Prepare and monitor manpower plans based on operational requirements.




- Ensure timely fulfilment of vacancies and effective deployment of manpower.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and provide regular updates on hiring progress. 4. Employee Relations and HR Operations
- Address employee queries, workplace concerns, and grievances professionally.
- Coordinate with store management to support employee engagement, discipline, and retention.
- Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate employee and manpower data.
- Support management initiatives to improve workforce productivity and operational effectiveness. Required Qualifications and Experience
- MBA in Human Resources is mandatory.
- 6–8 years of relevant HR experience.
- Experience in retail, hypermarket, supermarket, or other high-volume workforce environments will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle management, recruitment, manpower planning, and statutory compliance.
- Good coordination, communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with management and store teams. Language Requirements Fluency in all three languages is mandatory:

- Tamil
- Malayalam Location and Relocation
- The position is based at Nesto Head Office, Calicut, Kerala.
- The role carries HR responsibility for the Nesto Hypermarket branch at Singanallur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
- Candidates residing in Calicut will have an added advantage.
- Candidates residing outside Calicut must be willing to relocate to Calicut. Candidate Preference Female candidates are preferred. All applicants must meet the essential qualification, experience, language, and relocation requirements.
